I specialize in bringing cross-functional teams together to solve gnarly user problems. I do this by ensuring that:

• the right players are at the table at the right time,

• they are included in every step of the design process and

• we are solving real problems.

This approach comes naturally to me because I believe everyone has something to contribute and am good at building consensus. The product manager understands market demands. The developer understands technical constraints. The designer understands the end user. I understand how to intertwine their unique perspectives to form a cohesive, feasible, viable solution that leaders will support and end-users will love.

I currently work at a large insurance and banking provider. In my time at the organization, I have used design research and design thinking to transform the internal phone transfer tool, facilitate a complete overhaul of the internal phone directory app and bring role clarity for employees who were struggling to understand their responsibilities and decision making rights.
